Please stay tuned….I promise I will blog!

When I started dabbling with farming it was just a few chickens and a tiny garden meant to teach my young girls (and myself) about growing your own food. We had fun gathering eggs, having a few chicks around and picking a few things from the garden (I say few as my thumb has never been very green). As they started getting more independent and started school and I started getting a bit better at this homesteading thing, I decided I wanted to share some of my experiences which I’ve learned mostly from the locals, books and blogs.

Low and behold a couple months after launching a website I was shocked to find out there was a little surprise (a not so little baby boy) growing inside me that would remind me to slow down mama, enjoy the little things, your blog can wait!

So here I sit at the computer again with my 6 month old baby boy sleeping in a baby carrier having replaced the computer chair with a glider rocker so I can hopefully finish this first entry. I am bubbling with ideas for the next one!

Thanks for reading, I hope you will stay tuned!

I would love to know how to grow oyster mushrooms. How did you learn to do this? I live in a tiny farm village and have been learning all sorts of things since we moved here. I am grandmother to 5, but still fascinated by growing things that are just a little bit different.
